Overview Grants Manager

Purdue Northwest's Sponsored Programs department is seeking a Grants Manager to join their team. The Grants Manager will have the primary responsibility of managing payroll allocations on sponsored programs to ensure that faculty, staff, and students efforts are allocated to the correct sponsored program accounts at the appropriate % effort level, and that sufficient funds are available for the level of commitment. Additionally, the role will be responsible for managing other grant-related payroll processes.

Salary Range: $57,000 - $65,000

Duties and Responsibilities of Grants Manager

• Allocate salaries on grants and monitor effort through project lifecycle.
• Work with PIs to ensure that they receive timely projections of salaries, wages and fringe benefits on grants on a regular basis.
• Work with Departments, Business Office, and Human Resources/Payroll to add, review, and approve summer payroll on grants.
• Work with faculty to manage Effort Certification Process (PARs).
• Process and manage FERAP applications.
• Work closely with Grant Managers and other administrators

Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered

Experience

• Two years of experience in Payroll, Finance, Business Management, Sponsored Programs, or a related field
