Who we are looking for:
Are you passionate about making a difference in cancer research? We are actively seeking a Grants Management Associate to join our Conquer Cancer team. In this role, you will provide program administrative and operational support to the Corporate and Foundation Relations team.

This position is hybrid with a primary location in Alexandria, VA.
Responsibilities
Assists with activities in support of drafting and submitting grant requests to companies and foundations
Perform grant database entries and related tracking on platforms with accurate information and migrate information to Conquer Cancer in a timely manner
Follow up on payments and complete internal grant award documents
Work with Corporate and Foundation Relations team to create and update the support opportunity documents
Prepare grant/sponsorship support materials and provide logistic support to the Corporate and Foundation Relations team for the Conquer Cancer Council as needed
Provide administrative support as needed
Additional duties, as assigned
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent years of experience
1 year of experience in an administrative support or customer service position
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe software
Preferred Education and Experience
Familiarity with Grants management
Knowledge of health care system
Project management experience

Strong communication skills, including written, with ability to clearly convey and receive information
Ability to write sound and detailed documents using templates
Ability to identify problems and find creative, effective solutions
Strong time management skills with ability to meet deadlines, prioritize, and multi-task
