Job Summary
Grants Financial Analyst responsible for identifying, tracking and pursuing payment on past due non-clinical sponsored project accounts receivable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Completes collection efforts while ensuring positive relationships with sponsors and campus partners are maintained.
Conducts research and utilizes award information to track down appropriate contacts for invoices and payment among various entity types. Also serves as backup for the Accounting Coordinator in the daily posting of sponsor payments, aiding them in research and application of complex payments as necessary. Ability to understand and interpret data in the financial system and award documentation regarding invoicing requirements necessary to success in position.
Requires a self-motivated, tenacious, flexible and organized individual with an eye for detail and proven technical abilities utilizing excel to analyze and track data. Upon successful completion of training, this position is eligible for consideration of a hybrid work arrangement.
