Friday 8:00 am
5:00 pm; Flexibility required to include other evening and/or weekend hours, as necessary.
SALARY RANGE: $58,916 - $63,499.11 per year
POSITION SUMMARY
Develop and write grant proposals to obtain funds for ongoing or special projects and research potential external funding sources. This position requires considerable judgment, initiative, decision-making, and organizational abilities.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
Specializes in proposals to regional foundations and state entities like the Wisconsin Technical College System Office.
Facilitate meetings to assist with project development and grant exploration.
Develop and submits complete grant proposals, including need statements, project objectives, design, evaluation, and budget.
Assists in submission process for federal grant (e.g., forms, drafting letters of support, collection of information from internal project teams and external partners, proposal formatting, and final review of materials to ensure all required components from the grant solicitation are being provided).
Develop supportive narratives of demographic data and other data for inclusion into applications and/or presentations, as well as draft resource commitments from external partners.
Recommends process improvements and incorporates new uses of technology and other tools to increase efficiency.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: Bachelor's degree or associate degree and combination of experience.
Experience: A minimum of two years writing, editing, and proofing documents, basic project design skills, meeting facilitation skills, comfortable holding others accountable, and experience effectively multi-tasking in a deadline driven environment with a high degree of accuracy and organization.
An equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered.
Cultural Competence: Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion and sensitivity to and understanding of a diverse community of college students, faculty, and staff.
