Job Summary and Description
Coordinates and assists with Alamo Colleges District's post-award process for all externally funded grants. Coordinates and assists with monitoring and providing interpretation of grantor requirements.
Applies generally accepted accounting principles of governmental accounting in working with specialized grant accounting records. Performs a wide range of technical accounting, analysis and reporting within assigned areas of Alamo Colleges' grants and contracts. Provides direct services to grant program managers at Colleges and District.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field or a combination of relevant experience, education and training that equates to the required degree.
Three years experience in Accounting or related field in nonprofit/governmental or higher education setting.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Master's degree.
Grant Accounting Experience in Non-Profit/Governmental setting.
Experience in using: Banner Finance, CDER, G5, Payment Management System, Research.gov, iTCCS-Software for Texas.
Licenses and Certifications:
Motor Vehicle Report is required in addition to background check and drug screen
