Job Description:
Maintain budgetary and accountability control over the Restricted Fund group including:
Assist with the development of the Annual Budget.
Post approved budgets, budget amendments and financial transactions.
Review and approve travel, credit card transactions, and requisitions.
Provide administrative support to Program Managers to include official correspondence and invoicing.
Prepare and post routine journal entries related to administrative/indirect costs.
Prepare all required federal, state, local, grantor and internal reports including annual SEFA.
Respond to internal and external audit requests.
Prepare monthly Board of Trustee materials as assigned.
Serve as participating member of the college's Grant Committee.
Prepare indirect cost rate proposals.
Plan, coordinate, and provide NWFSC training in Banner Finance in counsel with Assistant Controller.
Serve as backup for Accountants of other Fund groups as needed.
As a part of the college's risk management tool annual mandatory compliance training is required.
Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Executive Director of Finance and Accounting or the Vice President for Business Operations and Finance.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or other Business related field with a minor in Accounting required.
Two years' experience in accounting field required.
Experience in higher education or governmental counting preferred.
Previous experience and knowledge of computerized accounting systems.
Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
Technical proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to organize, prioritize, multi-task, act independently, work well with others.
