CHS Lowder has an exciting opportunity in Country Operations! We are looking for an Operations Specialist to join our growing team. You must be customer focused, hardworking, and have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. This position has the opportunity for growth.

You will:

  • Work with patrons in a courteous and professional manner.

  • Perform all job functions as needed to ensure facility operates smoothly and customers receive excellent customer service.

  • Control and monitor all load out functions.

  • Understand and operate automated scale/dump systems.

  • Blend product as prescribed and/or generate blends.

  • Monitor and maintain quality of inventory and blended product.

  • Load and unload products from railcars or trucks.

  • Operate heavy equipment as needed.

  • Conduct regular house-cleaning duties, processes and record keeping.

  • Maintain and keep records on all equipment including legs, conveyors, cleaners, vehicles and all other facility equipment.

  • Follow all company policies, procedures and safety requirements.

  • Lift 75 lbs, climb rail cars, ladders, stairs and bins; work in dusty conditions and changing temperatures.

  • Perform other duties as needed or assigned.

  • Work extended hours to meet business demands.

  • Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.

Training provided:

  • Crop protection product mixing

  • Operation of application equipment

  • Operation of location facilities

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED

  • Able to lift 75 lbs, climb rail cars, ladders, stairs and bins

  • Experience operating loaders, conveyors, tractors, and track mobile

  • Able to work in dusty conditions and adverse weather conditions and temperatures

  • Able to work extended hours to meet business demands

  • CDL license or ability to attain one with HAZMAT endorsement

  • Pass a DOT required physical and drug screen

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Agriculture background

  • Grain, fertilizer, or chemical handling experience

VIEW JOBS 3/15/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-06-13T00:00 Job Purpose: This individual will be responsible for identifying, prioritizing and orchestrating the execution of improvements to Customer Care operations. The role requires a primary emphasis on the service optimization stream of work which seeks to improve the call center and back-office employee experience while building for scalability and improvement of the customer experience. In this role, the Product Owner/Consultant III will be an embedded part of the team working closely with the IT Lead and Transformation Lead on a daily basis as well as interfacing with shared services teams as needed to further the work. Cross-coordination examples include the CX Team (leveraging online communities to inform direction on experience), Analytics (for data-driven decision-making) and operations leaders (to prepare for change). Responsibilities also include skill with business analysis and prioritization to maximize business value while balancing a budgeted spend allowance. Job Responsibilities: Proactively and independently lead an effective model to: * Clarify purpose and scope of work that the team will execute on * Identify improvements related to Customer Operations processes, customer experience and systems. * Effectively engage stakeholders to ensure transparency of prioritized work while ensuring the right activities are happening to prepare the operations to receive changes from the working team. * Accountable for the business value story to ensure investments made are aligned to highest value opportunities or greatest needs. * Effectively represent the interest of the stakeholders to internal scrum teams. * Effectively partner with IT and stakeholders to develop a prioritized product release plan driven by business value. Develop close working relationships other members of Customer Operations as well as development teams through: * Establishes close partnerships with other leaders of the Operations team, such as Billing, New Business, Service Administration, and Call Center etc. * Continuous collaboration with all stakeholders to understand priorities and trade-offs (cost of delay) with ability to translate priorities into a prioritized product backlog. * Facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, and sprint reviews to refine and continuously manage user stories and acceptance criteria for IT teams. * Effectively communicate goals and requirements to the scrum teams. Define, design and implement key operational processes through: * Provide acceptance on completed features and user stories (or PBI's) * Adopt a test and learn approach with a focus on thin-sliced releases referred to as Minimal Viable Functionality. * Establishing critical success factors on user stories including the associated metrics to assess success and a communication method to report out on results. * Ensure operational run the business reports remain viable as changes are implemented. Job Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Business or other related field or trade off in related professional/insurance experience. * Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in Business Process Management, Business Continuous improvement or related field to include successful implementation of process or continuous improvement initiatives and progressive project management experience to include application of project management methodology, project cost estimation, and risk assessment experience in addition to successful implementation of key project initiatives. * 2-3 years product owner or experience in an agile environment. * Business acumen to determine business benefit/ROI * Proven record on ability to manage expectations of multiple stakeholders/customers * Demonstrated team-building and coaching skills; proven teamwork and collaboration with diverse groups * Proven ability to quickly earn the trust of stakeholders and to mobilize and motivate teams * Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple, complex priorities * Ability to communicate at all levels with clarity and precision, both written and verbal * Strong influencing skills; demonstrated ability to challenge and persuade, directing a group of stakeholders to the best decision CUNA Mutual Group's insurance, retirement and investment products provide financial security and protection to credit unions and their members worldwide.
