Graduate Student Worker-Elc Language Lab Monitor

Job Description

The English Language Communication (ELC) Program is seeking Graduate students to work as a part-time ELC Language Lab Monitor. This position is for Stevens students who are currently enrolled and have Full-time status. Note that applicants must have ELC credit hours.

Lab Monitors are responsible for:

o Maintaining the equipment (hardware and software) including updating software, simple troubleshooting, and basic room security.

o Assisting students with the use of the Language Lab software.

o Confirming that each student signs in prior to using the software.

o Giving brief tours of the lab and explanations to first-time users.

o Making sure the room is always clean and presentable.

o Opening and closing the Language Lab (If applicable).

Requirements:

• ELC credit hours.

• Bachelor's Degree
