The Pall Graduate Research and Development (R&D) Leadership Program
Pall Corporation (part of Danaher Corporation) is looking for future R&D leaders who can deliver innovative solutions to the most difficult technological challenges across a broad range of industries.
Location Cortland, NY
We are seeking a hardworking and open-minded Scientist / Engineer with a record of academic achievement and a desire to lead and balance important projects and project teams. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are needed for this role.
During the two-year program, you will work alongside our hardworking associates and will be given four, six-month assignments engaging your technical and leadership skills. In these assignments you will experience at firsthand many facets of R&D project management and project team direction; process application studies, product design using tools like CAD or our proprietary in house filter design modules; prototype manufacture and testing; and product transfer to manufacturing.
You will receive both on-the-job training and specialized learning on key Danaher Business Systems tools like the Problem Solving Process, Kaizen and Visual Project Management. These, plus personal mentoring by senior managers and engineers, will enable you to develop the skills required for key positions within the future organization. Upon graduation from the program, you will progress to the next stage in your journey with Pall.
Master's or PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or Chemical Engineering.

This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S.
Government export authorization is required. Any offer of employment is contingent upon Pall obtaining the necessary employment visa and export authorization, including, if required, an export license from the applicable U.S. government agency.
