Responsibilities of this specific role will include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Work with design engineers from Structural and MEP design teams

  • BIM management principles with regard to model integrity, maintenance of templates and families, applications of best practice for data management

  • BIM Modeling, CAD drafting, and use of Excel and databases for data manipulation and interoperability between BIM and analysis tools

  • Apply logic and common sense to determine which of a wide variety of database/CAD/BIM applications is the most efficient and optimized approach to solving technical or geometric problems

  • Manage the use of Modeling software to support engineers and BIM designers engaged in analysis and production work related to the design of various building types (high - rises, schools, museums, airports, etc...)

  • Introductory training to company standards, including visual styles, discipline deliverable requirements and software capabilities

  • Detailed training and use of a variety of software through on the job use

  • Multi-disciplinary coordination within the 3D BIM models, helping to resolve interdisciplinary conflict

  • Work closely with engineers and BIM Designers to create and issue drawing sets, including setup, quality assurance of model fidelity, documentation and archiving

  • Work with design teams to implement and support Building Data use and manipulation within models and for export/import interfaces with other programs.

This role focuses on the management of BIM models and the use and manipulation of data that resides within them. It is not primarily a design or production drawing role.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Associate's Degree in Building Information Modeling technology, Engineering Technology or Architectural Technology

  • Good communication skills essential for team-based working

  • Excellent planning and organization skills required for our fast-paced environment.

  • Must be highly motivated, proactive and willing to take on new challenges

  • Professional demeanor, attitude of taking initiative, Enthusiasm, Eagerness to learn

  • Experience with BIM/CAD drafting, solids modeling, or related field

  • Revit skills

  • Excel skills

  • Candidate must not require sponsorship, now or in the future to be considered for this role

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Mechanical engineering, or Electrical Engineering

  • Internship experience with a design or construction firm with job responsibilities that required use of 3D modeling software

  • Skills with 3D modeling (Rhino, SketchUp, NavisWorks, Catia, Tekla, Digital Project, etc.) Microstation

  • Evidence of extracurricular or academic success in the BIM field

  • Past history of technical drawing or model building

Bonus points:

  • Experience with realistic visualization tools and conversion of models to virtual/augmented reality

  • Experience with data visualization and representation

  • Experience with Revit APIs, C#.Net, VB.Net or Python and Dynamo

The NLP Data Science team in Enterprise Analytics and Data Science (EADS) is responsible for developing and deploying NLP, machine learning, and AI solutions for key strategic Enterprise initiatives. The team is looking for an experienced analytics professional to manage the Model Monitoring and Review Team. As the manager for the team, you will be responsible for building and managing a team of data scientists to design, develop, and implement the AI-NLP model monitoring framework and monitoring activities including but not limited to model performance tracking, KPI tracking and reports, thresholds and deviation tracking in ways to ensure the procedures and outputs meet corporate model risk policy and requirements and lines of business needs. In addition, you will be responsible for working with corporate model validation team to establish a working model that consists of standardized processes, repeatable modules, and approved artifacts to scale up the model review and model validation process. You and your team will be working with enterprise data scientists, corporate risk model validation teams, and the business customers to improve efficiency in the model review processes.
