Mason & Hanger is currently seeking an innovative Graduate Electrical Engineer with a strong desire to develop technical and leadership skills and gain experience while designing exciting projects throughout the US and across the globe in support of our mission of Building a More Secure World.
The ideal candidate will be driven to learn new skills in electrical engineering, telecommunications, and security, and will be responsible for researching, evaluating, and designing projects with guidance and mentoring from a professional engineer. Systems include medium and low voltage electrical distribution, critical power and redundancy including emergency/standby generators and UPS systems, data centers, building and security lighting, telecommunications structured cabling systems, electronic security and CCTV systems, and solar PV and other sustainable energy solutions for government, commercial, and industrial projects.
The ideal candidate must be a team player with excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology (ABET Accredited)
Ability to obtain a government security clearance
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certificate
Experience designing building lighting, power distribution, and/or telecommunications and security, or other electrical systems
Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook
Active Security Clearance
Experience with Department of State/OBO
Experience with Corps of Engineers
Telecommunications and/or Security Design experience
BICSI, LEED, LC, CxA, or CTS certification
