Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Graduate Assistant for the The Office of Education and Training at Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey, who will be interested in training the next generation of a diverse oncology workforce.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Assist in recruiting trainees for Rutgers Youth Enjoy Science Program (RUYES).
Assist in implementing Training Program components such as Professional Development activities, Mentor-Mentee workshops, curriculum implementation and trainee outreach.
Assist in organizing Program events such as YES Clubs at high schools, student visits to the Cancer Institute, etc.
Assist in tracking and data collection of participants in RUYES.
Provides general administrative support for the Education and Training Department.
Position Status Part Time Hours Per Week Daily Work Shift Work Arrangement
This position requires a fully on-site work arrangement.

Minimum Education and Experience

Effective oral and communication skills.
Must be computer literate with proficiency and working knowledge of database and reporting tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
