The Research Graduate Assistant performs research as a majority of their service. Working closely with one or more faculty members, assist with scholarly activities or research. Potentially includes all phases of research from design through literature review, data collection, analysis, writing, and preparation/presentation of findings.
The Research Graduate Assistant receives a stipend and a tax-exempt tuition waiver.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Provide support to the Department of Special Education & Communications Sciences and Disorders. Respond to request for data, prepare reports, develop and maintain databases, special projects as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Admission into a Graduate Program in the Department of Special Education & Communications Sciences and Disorders.
Excellent oral and written English Language Communication skills. Capacity to work without supervision.
PREFERRRED QUALIFICATIONS: Two years of eligibility as a graduate student, skilled in library research, experience using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Google, Word Docs.
Ability to work in a busy environment. Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks.
