POSITION SUMMARY: Undergraduate Admissions Graduate Assistant (UAGA) in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions will assist members of the department by providing support in student recruitment, marketing, events, and other key areas to support enrollment efforts.

UAGA's will gain valuable skills that can be transferred to many organizational experiences. The primary focus of this position will require supporting the Assistant Director with all recruitment efforts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Correspond with prospective students, campus partners, and alumni, seeking information about the University's undergraduate programs.
Attend college fairs and high school recruitment visits. Evening/weekend work and overnight travel may be required periodically.
Conduct interviews and one-on-one meetings with students and families and lead group presentations.
Attend weekday and weekend enrollment events to support the recruitment of undergraduate students.
Comfortable being in a front-facing position, to serve as a representative of the Office of Admissions, supporting the Enrollment Operations, Campus Visit, and Financial Aid teams as needed.
As part of the communication flow, create addressed letters and postcards, make phone calls to both students and high schools, and other communication formats daily.
Support the Admissions Counselors through the application review process, and assist with the completion of applications.
Complete other duties as assigned in conjunction with the department's student workers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Formal Education: A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college is required. The UAGA should be currently enrolled in a graduate program at Moravian University.
Must maintain satisfactory academic standing.
Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, cultural awareness and sensitivity, and the ability to complete a broad range of responsibilities/projects.
Inherent customer service instincts and the ability to work without close supervision.
Some evening and weekend activities, as well as travel to off-site recruitment events, are a requirement.
