This position is expected to start in Fall 2025.
The Graduate Assistant (GA) for Student Senate will be a member of the Center for Student Engagement & Leadership (CSEL) team and directly supervised by the Executive Director. This GA will collaborate with the Executive Director to provide support to student leaders and the Student Senate and its subsidiaries. This position will be responsible for upholding the divisional mission and values, and actively participate in CSEL goal setting, strategic planning and assessment cycle.
Specific responsibilities include:
Graduate Assistants are expected to work a total of 300 hours over the course of the semester. This time period will begin two weeks prior to the start of the fall semester and conclude at the end of the spring semester. This averages out to approximately 20 hours per week. Must be available to participate in staff orientation and training during the two weeks prior to the opening of fall semester.
