Graduate Assistant - Athletics Facilities
Description
The Athletic Facilities Graduate Assistant is a part-time, ten-month position responsible for assisting the Athletics Facility Coordinator.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist Athletic Facilities staff in all facets of operations for Hafner Recreation Center and all other Athletic fields
Ability to work night and weekend hours
Manage and schedule undergraduate and graduate student workers for events
Oversee, stock and inventory concessions operations for all athletic contests
Coordinate scheduling of the facilities utilizing Course Dog scheduling software
Lead event staff during game day operations for all NCAA sports
Oversee rentals who are using athletic spaces
Execute maintenance projects throughout the facility to ensure it is ready for use
Work with outside vendors who rent the facilities for use
Communicate with coaches and athletic staff members in professional manner
Supervise and promote campus recreation program
Complete other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Enrolled full-time in a Graduate degree program by August 1, 2024
Bachelor degree from an accredited institution by June 1, 2024
Undergraduate degree in Sports Management, Physical Education and Health, Health and Wellness or closely related area of study
Experience working with college athletics program (preferred)
Able to lift at least 25 lbs
Valid drivers license
