Dr. Deborah Deckner-Davis in the Department of Psychology and Human Services is soliciting applications for two Graduate Assistants (GAs), starting January 2024.
Please find the description of the available assistantships below. GAs will be expected to work an average of 20 hours per week starting January 2024 through December 2024 with total compensation of $20,800 during that time frame (i.e., $20 per hour).
Position Description
Graduate student assistants will be responsible for (1) attending university events, such as new student orientations, and staffing informational tables in order to share information with incoming and current students regarding Clayton State University¿s Child Care Subsidy Program, (2) attending Clayton State University¿s student led parent support group, Parents¿ Loch¿d In, meetings to gather information from parenting students about their needs and perspectives on services available at CSU and to share information about any new or upcoming services and events specifically geared toward parenting students, (3) helping connect parenting students with a range of CSU resources, and (4) assisting in reviewing and maintaining data collected for applicant screening and Annual Performance Reports. Other duties will be assigned based on the needs of the grant.

Required Qualifications
MUST BE A CURRENTLY ENROLLED CLAYTON STATE UNIVERSITY STUDENT
Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Child Development, Social Work, Education, or an allied field from an accredited university. Current enrollment in an accredited graduate program in Psychology, Sociology, Child Development, Social Work, Education, or an allied field.
