Salary: $2,076/month minimum
Other Conditions: To begin August 1, 2025 pending position clearance and availability of funds. Temporary position not to exceed June 30, 2026.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Under general supervision:
Teach two sections of ASAN 150 Intro to Research and Writing in Asian Studies: one in Fall 2025 and one in Spring 2026.
Hold at least one office hour per week.
Attend training sessions, debriefings and other meetings as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Full-time classified graduate student enrolled in a UHM graduate degree program at time of hire.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in appropriate field from a college or university of recognized standing.
Demonstrated teaching effectiveness.
