Responsibilities
Serves as the advisor and registrar for graduate students in the College of Business. Advises students regarding required coursework each semester.
Communicates with students regarding missing graduation requirements. Works with Director of Graduate Programs, Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, and Sr.
Associate Dean in resolving student problems and in determining policy revisions. Serves as liaison with the Office of Distance Learning, The Graduate School and Office of Admissions and Records
Coordinates the evaluation, review and processing of academic records for students applying to graduate programs. Acts as liaison between Sr.
Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, Director of Graduate Programs, Program Directors, Department Chairs and/or Admissions Committee for each assigned program. Responsible for admissions assistance during the application process. Responsible for notifying applicants when specific documentation/ information is missing or required. Responsible for notifying applicants of admissions decision.
Assists graduate students with dropping, adding or substituting courses; fields request to withdraw from the University and monitors students in danger of being dismissed or placed on academic probation. Reviews student files and makes recommendations concerning those placed on academic probation.
Reviews student files to ensure students meet graduation requirements. Coordinates Salesforce communications and inquiry management.
Maintains student files, processes grade change forms and coordinates updates for each student Program of Study. Assists with building classes and ensures accuracy of courses built into the University Course Schedule Master system.
Serves as liaison between the College of Business Graduate Office and the University Office of Admissions and Records with regard to admissions for assigned graduate programs.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and two years of experience or a high school diploma/equivalent and experience equal to six years. (Note: post-high school education can substitute tor experience at the equivalent rate.)
