Grade 9 ELA Teacher

Greeneview High School is looking for a Grade 9 ELA Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. Grade 8 is at the High School in Greeneview Schools. Applicants must be licensed and qualified to teach ELA in grades 4-9 in the state of Ohio.

Applicants must demonstrate:

• The ability to effectively plan and teach lessons that support and extend the New State Learning Standards and meet the needs of all learners in a self-contained classroom

• The ability to make and carry out long-range instructional and program planning

• An understanding of best practices for quality instruction and student achievement

• The ability to differentiate instruction to accommodate learners with multiple ability levels in the regular classroom and small group settings

• The ability and willingness to work as part of a team of classroom teachers and administrators to plan how to best meet the needs of students

• The ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and teachers

• The ability to keep accurate and thorough records

• A record of consistently managing paperwork and handling work assignments in a timely manner
