A Government Logistician job is available with a government contracting client in Dayton, Ohio. THIS IS A CONTRACT TO HIRE POSITION AND IS FULLY REMOTE. In this role the individual will be the subject matter expert on military specifications (MIL-Specs). The individual will need to know military procedures and respond to their clients for definitions of certain Mil- Specs. The individual will also need to be knowledgeable of the following: MILSTRIP, MILSTRAP, MILSBILLS, MILSPETS, MILSTAMP, MILSTEP DoDAAD, MAPAD.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Apply extensive technical expertise with full knowledge of other related disciplines.

• Communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings.

• Perform work without appreciable direction.

• Exercise considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment.

• Completed work is reviewed from a relatively long- term perspective, for desired results.

• Represent the organization as the prime technical contact on contracts and projects.

• Interacts with senior external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a US Citizen

• Bachelor"s degree in engineering with 7 years" experience with government contract.

• Logistics Systems Design and Development Experience

• Communication Systems Design and Development Experience

• Data Information Systems Design and Development Experience

• Experience on military logistic and transportation specification to the respective MIL-SPEC

• Strong problem-solving skills to determine solutions to user interface challenges

• Multi-tasking and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks

• Ability to obtain and maintain Government Security Clearance
