JOB SUMMARY: This is a Government Analyst II position with the Florida Department of Revenue's (DOR) Information Services Program. This position manages IT projects for DOR in accordance with PMBOK-based standards and methodologies specified by the state of Florida and DOR. This position also provides technical assistance and consultative services to staff on a variety of complex IT projects, technical proposals, business cases and operational reports. In addition, this position makes recommendations for change that will increase project performance, communication, and consistency throughout DOR programs. The candidate must have professional experience in IT Project Management, be highly organized and self-motivating, possess excellent team building and communication skills, and be comfortable working with diverse business processes.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
SUBSTITUTIONS:
Master's degree from an accredited college or university can substitute for one year of the required experience.
Professional experience managing projects can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.
PREFERENCES:
PMP Certification
5 or more years' experience managing IT projects
Experience managing stakeholders and project teams.
Experience developing and documenting requirements for IT projects.
Experience using project management tools (e.g. HP PPM, Microsoft Project).
Agile Certification
Familiarity with ISO Certification
