JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position Summary

This position entails selling the entire line of ADC Products to a regional market based accounts, with a strong emphasis on government sales. The selling process includes developing new business in defined regional accounts, as well as growing existing customer base. It includes determining customer needs, developing account specific strategies, creating customer commitment to change, and implementing conversion (training and start up) upon close.

The position includes any of the following customer types: Federal Government Medical Centers, including, but not limited to Dept of Defense (MTF's), VA Medical Centers, Indian Health Tribes, Public Health agencies, and Managed Care.

Main Responsibilities

Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system.

Selling, including cross-divisional initiatives and customer base development.

Assess business impact of contracting opportunities to include overall profitability and impact on sales and margin.

Working to ensure optimal territory management and efficient implementations/training.

Account Management/Customer Care.

Leadership and self development.

Effectively manage assigned budget while maximizing return on investment.

Accountability

This position will be responsible for developing business in accounts that are regional in scope.

Other accountabilities include budgeting, customer VIP trips to key locations, semi-annual business reviews, accurate forecasting, preparation of customer business plans, and new product distribution.

Qualifications
1.Four year degree in Business, Communications, Health Sciences or equivalent experience.
2.A high degree of computer literacy (functional ability to use Microsoft Office expected). 3.0 to 5.0 years of proven successful sales track record at Abbott Laboratories or equivalent. Will generally require 4+ years of successful sales experience if candidate is from outside of Abbott Laboratories.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for supporting the Structural Heart CALA Sales, Operations and Finance teams meet their Commercial and Financial sales, growth, division margin and other targets through trend analysis, tool creation and implementation. CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Implement a CRM system roll out in CALA Structural Heart organization. * Monitor the Commercial and Financial performance of Structural Heart products, compare the Plan and LBE vs Actual results, analyze market trends of the products, company, profitability and contribution of each product and suggest actions to correct and/or optimize results * Prepare the Daily Sales Report, which includes daily, monthly, quarterly and annual Sales Revenue, Sales Units & Average Sales Price data by country and by product * Prepare the Monthly Polaris Report, which includes Sales Revenue, Sales Units & Average Sales Price data by country, by account, by sales rep, and by product. * Develop other reports, dashboards, key performance indicators, etc as required, and act as the Subject Matter Expert for CALA Sales and Inventory data. * Manage Dodeca system data, including uploading and retrieving data in the system, and reconciling the Dodeca system data with other ERP system data to ensure data accuracy * Work with CALA HQ Finance management to calculate Bad Debt Reserves, and Inventory Obsolescence Reserves. * Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for IT systems, and act as the central point of contact for troubleshooting issues that arise between IT, Sales and Finance. * Train new and existing users on how to use IT applications. * Responsible for development and implementation of market research plans and relationships to market research suppliers and partners. * Responsible for sales reporting, trend and market analysis, market model management, and the implementation of a sales process across CALA. * Compiles and delivers business intelligence reports to end users on a regular basis, and researches marketing information for the CALA HQ and CALA Commercial teams. * Develop marketing, promotional and sales plans in short-, medium- and long term increments (1-3 years), for Structural Heart products, considering differences in markets, varying product life cycles, regions and countries, product availability, investments, resources, product positioning, defined strategies, prices, commercial and financial goals (margins for each product). * Lead, coordinate and manage the NPI (New Product Introduction) process for the region, assuring clear communication and correct prioritization according to the business needs. * Lead the product launch process, alterations and/or product discontinuations in the Structural Heart portfolio and comply with the processes and procedures defined by the company. * Conduct training for the sales force and finance personnel and monitor the results achieved. CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (con't): * Create reports / dashboard with managerial information for Structural Heart products considering local and international requirements. * Control the budget assigned to each product and monitor the financial results achieved for Structural Heart products.
