Enterprise Engineering (EE) is looking for an experienced program manager to lead the Governance, Risk & Compliance practice within the Business Operations Pillar. Business Operations enables more cross-functional collaboration between EE pillars and our cross-functional partners, increases transparency on important topics and clarifies the EE strategy, boosts our brand by highlighting our people, product and engineering successes, and creates frameworks and processes to make us a more efficient organization.

The Manager will lead a team of project managers that focus on reducing the overall risk in the EE environment. This person should be able to understand and implement risk frameworks, dashboards, and mechanisms to monitor & report risks. This person should also be able to devise mechanisms to proactively identify risks and the environment and develop plans to resolve them by working with many cross-functional teams within Enterprise Engineering and at Facebook. This is a full-time position based at our headquarters in Menlo Park.

GOVERNANCE RISK & COMPLIANCE MANAGER, ENTERPRISE ENGINEERING RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Continuously identify & assess IT-related risks to critical assets, vulnerabilities, and the adequacy of business and security controls and relay those to GRC team

Create frameworks and a repeatable process to surface, manage, examine, prioritize, and remediate risk within the Enterprise Engineering environment

Clearly define roles and responsibilities and a communication flow for the many teams that interact within this space so that GRC efforts are clear and directive

Understand the latest trends and policies within the regulatory risk environment that could affect impact the EE environment

Responsible for building out a GRC team, including hiring, mentoring and developing the best Project Management talent for FB Enterprise Engineering

Lead/manage the movement of the projects, holding meetings with direct team, cross-functional partners, and stakeholders to solve issues and keep projects on track

Articulate the requirements, goals, and milestones of the team

Defining and owning key metrics and key performance indicators

Scope, summarize, and prioritize projects across a variety of areas based on risk factors

Holding team accountable to manage, track and control project issues to ensure timely delivery of solutions

Provide day-to-day coordination and quality assurance for projects and tasks

Drive internal and external process improvements across multiple teams and functions

Provide hands-on program management during development and implementation

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years working experience in Internal Audit, Information Security, Global Security or other Governance, Risk & Compliance Field

Experience managing an organization of program or project managers, including building and growing the team

Experience moving technical or business driven projects from inception to delivery, and experience articulating the impact using metrics, growth examples, return, etc.

Experience structuring an organization that includes attracting talent and building out gaps in the existing team

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years experience working within an IT or Technical organization

Organizational, coordination, and multi-tasking experience

Analytical and problem-solving experience with large-scale systems

Experience establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams and multiple partners in different time zones

Superb communications skills with a variety of levels, business and technical functions

Knowledge of industry standard risk management standards (e.g., ISO, NIST, COBIT)

Experience with data and analytics

Experience creating and utilizing KPIs and KRIs

Engaging and managing consulting partners for large scale projects

Experience with dashboards and data visualization tools

Experience with GRC tools
