Immediate job opening for a Governance PMO Analyst. The Sr.

Analyst will be responsible for processing, organizing, and reporting the technology governance process according to new and established standards. They will work directly with the Manager of Tech Governance to define and maintain the procedures, work instructions and work products.

o Produce executive level presentations for executive and technical Governance forums

o Produce and distribute periodic data driven portfolio management reports to stakeholders as defined by the Communications Plan

o Document/maintain Governance procedures and work instructions

o Maintain and track portfolio data according to defined processes and work instructions

o Perform testing of database applications

o Analyze portfolio data and formulate corrective actions plans, as appropriate

o Perform audits to ensure process adherence and consistency of practice

o Contribute content and manage files via Enterprise Collaboration Platforms (i.e., Confluence and SharePoint)

o Admin related duties including scheduling meetings and tracking action items

Required Qualifications

o (BA or BS) Bachelor's Degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Business or Finance

o Four to Six (4 - 6) years of professional experience

o Excellent skills in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio

o Practical knowledge of Project Governance

o Solid understanding of Project Management Standards (PMBOK)

o Understanding of Agile and Waterfall processes

o Understanding of database technologies

Project Managers are responsible for the coordination and completion of all aspects of project management on assigned PMO projects, including, but not limited to, project definition, project plans, conducting meetings, documenting requirements, overseeing development, testing, and implementation. Additionally, the Project Manager - PMO is part of the IT Services organization and directs project compliance efforts. Responsibilities JOB DUTIES * Manage multiple small to medium-sized software development or implementation projects to successful completion. * Follow GM Financial's Project Management Methodology, including documented policies and processes, in developing detailed project plans and completing required project documentation. * Conduct project discovery, develop project teams, define objectives and scope, document current and future-state processes, document risks and assumptions, and oversee development, testing, and implementation. * Conduct project kick-off meetings, communicate individual roles and project expectations, and serve as a single point of contact for projects. * Complete and manage detailed project plans using the designated project and portfolio management software tool. * Utilize designated project and portfolio management software tool to report project status, manage issues, and document risks. * Develop and maintain productive working relationships with project owners, business functions, IT, vendors, and other project stakeholders.
