Gourmet Team Member - Part-Time

The Gourmet Team Member plays a crucial role in customer interaction. This position involves gaining expertise in the products offered at the deli/cheese counter and learning how to pair them with wine, beer, and spirits. The team member will assist guests in choosing cheeses for gift baskets. Reporting to the Gourmet Manager, this role is an integral part of the Gourmet Team.

• Utilize extensive knowledge of our gourmet items to help guests select and pair cheeses with wine, beer, and spirits.
• Assist guests in choosing gourmet items for gift baskets.
• Stay updated on trends and knowledge in gourmet products.
• Ensure the rotation of gourmet stock and remove expired items from shelves and displays.
• Maintain and stock sampling stations efficiently.

Requirements

• A strong sense of customer service
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
• Must be 18 years of age
• Basic computer skills
