Specific Job Functions:
Provide prompt, friendly, and courteous food and beverage service to guests
Serve alcoholic beverages to guests and verify age of any guest who looks under the age of thirty
Alert Management immediately if any guest appears to be intoxicated
Refill beverages as needed
Perform satisfaction checks throughout the meal.
Follow specific service/ticket times and alert management immediately of any variations.
Thank guests for dining at the restaurant
Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant including floors, tables, ledges, and counters
Maintain familiarity with wine menu, food menu and specials
Follow uniform and appearance standards
Maintain a working knowledge of casino events and promotions
Ensure tables are properly set, side stations are clean, and side work is properly completed
Reset tables with flatware, linen center piece and glassware according to specific standards.
Pre-bus tables as guest finishes each course.
Process all non-cash checks.
Maintain a working knowledge of special events, casino events and special promotions.
Assist with initial guest complaints and inform manager on duty immediately
Remain in control during high-volume situations.
Maintain the ability to service a minimum of six tables
Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of gourmet or upscale dining server experience in a full service high volume outlet required.
Communicate effectively in English both verbally and written forms
Pleasing personality and demeanor with an ability to interact and communicate with people of diverse backgrounds
Professional appearance and demeanor a must
High School Diploma is required
Must be able to work any shift.
The ability to perform tasks that requiring and/or moving at a fast pace for periods of up to eight hours or longer.
