Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

As a Go-to-Market Marketing Manager on the Google Play Games consumer marketing team, you'll be responsible for driving the strategy and execution for our go-to-market (GTM) marketing plans for mobile games. In this role, you'll be leading various projects and initiatives in partnership with major game developers, through co-marketing partnerships, influencer programs for gaming, media campaigns, events and more.

Effective partnership with internal cross-functional teams is critical in this role. You'll be working with business development, merchandising, developer marketing, brand and social marketing, and other teams closely to bring campaign initiatives to life.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of relevant marketing experience.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing relationships with senior executives, externally and internally.

  • Experience in the video/mobile game industry.

  • Experience in defining strategic marketing plans based on user insights.

  • Ability to manage simultaneous projects across multiple stakeholders and prioritize goals.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Define and lead global strategy with major game developers, identify risks and opportunities, manage partner prioritization, and define long term marketing objectives.

  • Lead go-to-market planning and execution for marketing campaigns with cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Maintain executive-level partnerships with game developers, identifying marketing and partnership opportunities.

  • Collaborate with international marketing teams to communicate marketing goals and objectives and global campaign alignment.

  • Be an expert of consumer insights for mobile gamers and utilize research and data to inform marketing and communication strategy.

Preferred qualifications: * 3 years of experience working in a function or company focused on mobile gaming. * Experience in the Brazilian gaming market and with mobile gaming. * Ability to analyze research or performance data and apply that analysis to optimize merchandising strategy. * Ability to work with partners to develop co-promotions or cross-promotion strategies and campaigns. * Ability to advise on strategies and product requirements to enhance merchandising capabilities. * Excellent analytical, collaboration, and communication skills. * Set country merchandising strategy for the Games vertical in Brazil and execute against the global plan. * Analyze internal data, market research, and industry trends to select content to make content promotion and editorial decisions. * Drive strategy for content partner co-promotion opportunities.
