This role will develop and administer policy, process, and best practices for Corporate content, search and Analytics. This position will provide support to corporate users, assisting site developers with best practices, ensuring compliance with corporate site governance and standards.
Develop and maintains Sites governance plan in accordance with business needs.
Manage content and layout structure on sites built on Google Sites.
Manage operations and periodic updates of official, internal corporate sites.
Understand enterprise and industry standards and best practices for corporate content.
Partners with Corporate Communications and Branding teams to develop layouts and enhance look of corporate site templates.
Work with end-users and stakeholders to gather and evaluate requirements and propose Google Site solutions.
Optimize sites for Google Cloud Search(Elastic Search is also a plus) including reviewing content for relevant subject matter, optimizing inbound and outbound links, mobile compatibility, page speed, analyzing click through rates and traffic, etc.
Build site metrics and analyze site traffic and usage, and recommend opportunities for improvement.
Propose new feature uptake when available.
Partner with Google to request new features.
Knowledge of Google Analytics to run reports for Management
Develop migration roadmap from legacy CMS.
3 years experience managing internal corporate content.
1-2 years experience of Google Sites administration
Experience in content management and web design.
Experience in developing corporate content best practice and governance.
Solid understanding of Google Sites and Drive functionality and features.
Proficient with Google Analytics.
Experience with administration of Google Cloud Search functionality and features.
Knowledge of compare products is a plus
