Job Summary/Basic Function

Directs the overall operation of the Gongaware Center, which supports insurance and risk management and financial services education in the Scott College of Business.

In collaboration with College and University leadership, set the vision to achieve the mission of Gongaware Center and establish and execute strategies to achieve sustainability of the Center.

Oversee the planning and execution of events and conferences coordinated by the Gongaware Center.

Serve as advisor for Gamma Iota Sigma, the professional organization for risk management, insurance, and actuarial science.

Assist students with professional development and preparation for interviews, industry visits, and career fairs.

Manage relationships with members of the College, Insurance Advisory Council, and Insurance and Financial Services industries.

Collaborate with Dean on the proposed Gongaware Center and Insurance Program budget and work with staff to manage and monitor progress.
