The Park and Recreation Department is seeking to hire for the Golf Shop Attendant position. The Golf Shop Attendant will perform a range of duties relative to the daily operation of the Golf Shop including opening and closing, golf cart maintenance, assisting with cleanup inside and outside the golf shop, stocking merchandise, assisting with tournaments, and providing other necessary customer service and duties such as:

Answer telephones, assist with scheduling tee times, provide assistance to patrons regarding golf course playing conditions, and handicapping procedures, assist with maintaining daily records of player names and cart numbers, assist with pricing and displaying merchandise, perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

The position will work up to 19 hours weekly with no benefits

NOTE: THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE WORKING SOME EVENINGS, WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS.

Experience/Training

HS Diploma/GED with a practical knowledge of the game of golf and no previous experience required; Possession of a valid Texas driver's license.

Job Preferences

Retail and point-of-sale experience. Knowledge and experience at a public or private golf facility.

Examples of such problems include determining the location and density of circuitry, evaluating electromagnetic radiation, isolating malfunctions, and incorporating engineering; changes. Work typically requires an understanding of the interrelationships of circuits, exercising independent judgment in performing such tasks as making circuit analyses, calculating wave forms, and tracing relationships in signal flow, using complex test instruments such as high frequency pulse generators, frequency synthesizers, distortion analyzers, and complex computer control equipment. Work may be reviewed by supervisor for general compliance with accepted practices. This position may provide technical guidance to lower level technicians. Responsible for the following tasking and support as needed for scheduled/unscheduled back shop MRO activities. Responsibilities * Radio Shop: * Oversees and coordinates the operation of the radio shop and instrument shop * Coordinates with avionics hangar/line lead for sharing avionics technician pool personnel to provide support in shop maintenance and other support to ensure productive use of available labor * Oversees and performs maintenance and alteration tasks on civil aviation articles in accordance with the current technical data * Ensures that all direction provided in the manufacturer's ICAs, SBs, service letters, and ADs complies with government and industry standard practices and other data acceptable to or approved by the FAA * Is responsible for increasing repair capability to a level that will support one full-time equivalent (FTE) lead * Performs all other duties assigned by the AMM * Coordinates with the LRS to ensure the most effective use of established OEM agreements * Coordinates with the LRS for workload sharing while increasing repair capability at AAOCRS Instrument Shop: * Oversees and coordinates the operation of the radio shop and instrument shop * Develops and implements an in-house familiarization training program, which includes procedures for proper operational testing, diagnostic, and authorized repairs, for leads and technicians across the TAOMSS program * Coordinates with avionics hangar/line lead for sharing avionics technician pool personnel to provide support in shop maintenance and other support to ensure productive use of available labor • Coordinates with the LRS for workload sharing while increasing repair capability at AAOCRS * Coordinates with the LRS to ensure the most effective use of established OEM agreements * Coordinates with avionics hangar/line lead for sharing avionics technician pool personnel to provide support in shop maintenance and other support to ensure productive use of available labor * Is responsible for increasing repair capability to a level that will support one FTE lead * Performs all other duties assigned by the AMM Basic Qualifications Requires high school diploma or equivalent years of prior experience Lead shall hold a valid mechanic certificate issued by the FAA with an airframe rating or a valid repairman certificate from an applicable repair station. The Lead shall have a minimum of seven (7) years' experience at avionics bench with two (2) of the seven years as an electronics/avionics maintenance supervisor. The Lead shall have demonstrated experience in the type aviation maintenance support required for the Designated Aircraft Inventory; experience of general aviation electronics systems to include communications, navigation, and flight control systems; and a working knowledge of the Federal Aviation Administration Regulations, at the level of responsibility for making airworthiness decisions. This position is a full time responsibility and must be located at the main on-site Alliance Facility. Will have at a minimum a 14 CFR Part 145 repairman's certificate with a minimum of five (5) years' experience.
