Salary - $12.10 per hour

POSITION SUMMARY: Performs routine clerical and cashier duties for the golf course pro shop.

SUPERVISION EXERCISED: Responsible for overseeing office functions and supervises staff.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Enforce golf course rules and policies set forth by the city.

  • Maintains records of cash and credit card receipts

  • Bank deposits. Balancing cash, credit cards, filling out bank deposit slip, and securing bank bag.

  • Answer customer questions, resolve conflicts, make customer feel welcomed.

  • Makes tee time reservations in a professional and timely manner

  • Opening and securing the buildings.

  • Keep pro shop organized, clean and displays filled.

NON-ESSENTIAL/MARGINAL FUNCTIONS: Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent education.

  • Previous experience in cash handling.

KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY:

  • Knowledge of basic golf course operations.

  • Product knowledge of Shop Merchandise

  • Working knowledge of City or County government a plus.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSE, REGISTRATION: Valid Indiana Driver's License required.

EQUIPMENT: Copier, facsimile machine, computer, cash register, telephone, calculator, credit card machine, golf cart, and portable radio.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work is performed in office settings, with moderate inside temperatures. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate in the office and moderately loud in the field. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and humid conditions. Entire office is smoke free.
