Job Description Job Description Golf Pro Shop Clerk Laredo Country Club provides a family oriented social setting devoted to 800 families, promoting exceptional sport, dining, and recreational experiences. With an 18 Hole golf course, driving range, eight tennis courts, a sports court, four banquet halls, a fitness center and three restaurants, Laredo Country Club is "Our Family's Second Home". In line with the club's mission and vision, the club is setting their sights in the future developing a club wide master plan including major upgrades to the club house and golf course.

The Laredo Country Club is seeking a Pro Shop Clerk for the golf department join our team to grow personally and professionally while enhancing our members' experiences to exceptional standards during their visit. Club Vision "Our Family's Second Home" Position Description Deliver a friendly, energetic and positive approach to service. Must have great phone etiquette, a professional image at all times and be knowledgeable in service.

Sell merchandise in Golf Pro Shop, ensuring that the shop operation is functioning well and that all phases of service and their execution are optimal. Will be cross trained in all aspects of the overall retail operation of the Golf Pro Shop. Assist in creating merchandising displays to maximize sales and product turnover.

Provide superior customer service. Observe club's safety rules and regulations. Oversees and coordinates the work of all those involved in guest services while on the club's golf course, particularly Starters and Rangers.

Monitors equipment and golf car use. Ensure smooth and reasonable pace of play is monitored by staff on golf course to avoid bottlenecks and delays. Control registration to prevent unauthorized people from using facilities.

Assist golfers during play and in any emergencies on the course. Administer First Aid, if necessary. Control pace of play on golf course by directing players to the first tee at appropriate times.

Position Requirements Valid Driver's License Knowledgeable about the game of golf and its rules. Knowledge of and ability to perform required role in emergency situations.
