There are two vacancies that will filled with this advertisement. The positions can be located in any of the following counties, Charlotte, Collier, DeSoto, Glades, Hendry, Hillsborough, Lee, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, and Sarasota.

THIS REQUISITION WILL SERVE TO FILL TWO CONTRACT MANAGER POSITIONS IN THE SUNCOAST REGION.
This is a highly responsible position in the Regional Family Safety Program Contract Services Unit. This position oversees the delivery of quality contracted services for adults and children through the provision of comprehensive contract and grant management activities, as it relates to s. 287.057(14), F.S.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Experience in developing, administering and/or monitoring State grants and contracts;
Knowledge of contract types and requirements;
Knowledge of and/or experience in State Procurement methods and/or procedures;
Skilled in negotiation techniques;
Ability to interpret rules, procedures, statutes, and guidelines related to contracts and/or grants and their applicable program area;
Ability to perform mathematical calculations and the ability to understand and interpret documentation of payment information;
Ability to research and analyze data and apply problem-solving skills;
Ability to coordinate and manage activities with other members;
Ability to demonstrate adaptability and flexibility and handle multiple tasks;
Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment, complete assignments, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision while representing the Departments best interest;
Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills with outstanding customer service in order to establish and maintain effective working relationships;
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products including word processing and spreadsheet applications as well as ability to learn new software;
Strong organizational skills in order to maintain contract files in accordance with Departmental policies;
Ability to travel throughout the Region and State, as necessary.
Candidates with a current Florida Certified Contract Manager (FCCM) license will receive preference. Candidates must indicate a valid FCCM Certification number and expiration date in the application's pre-qualifying questions in order to receive this preference. If selected for this position, the candidate must be actively licensed as an FCCM within 6 months of hire.
Per 287.057(15)(c) and (d), F.S. Contract Managers responsible for contracts in excess of $10 million annually must possess at least five years of experience managing contracts in excess of $5 million annually.
