You have 10+ years relevant experience. We are counting on your expertise with cellular chipset architectures for mobile and embedded applications (such as details of baseband processing systems, RF transceivers and power management units), including aspects of system integration such as low power host interfaces, platform operational modes, RF front-end control and power management Proficient in GPS / GNSS / radio navigation theory and technology Strong working knowledge of A-GNSS Familiarity with RFIC design, SW development, and system verification process Excellent communication and documentation skills and ability to develop detailed system architecture and design documentation Experience working with 3rd party vendors
In this role you will be a key member of the wireless platform architecture team supporting GNSS and location technologies and programs across all of our platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to specify system, RF architectures, and performance targets.
Define & document GNSS system architectures and performance requirements. Cover both chip and platform architecture. You will define GNSS performance requirements and interaction with navigation applications.
Interface with cellular chipset vendors to ensure consistency of chipset architecture with power architecture requirements, such as HW/SW interfaces, debug and tool support, packaging. And you will optimize power consumption and RF system performance via internal technology development and external vendor direction.
MS/PhD in Computer Science or Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
