GMP Cleaner I

Position Summary:

Catalent Pharma Solutions at our headquarters in Somerset, NJ is hiring a GMP Cleaner. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean working environment that meets the standards of (GMP) Good Manufacturing Practices. The GMP Cleaner will coordinate and perform all required daily, weekly, and monthly cleanings in the manufacturing facility for rooms and critical equipment. Additional responsibilities include organizing storage areas, routine inventory of consumable items and re-stocking of supplies.

• Friday, 7:00AM-3:30PM

The Role:

• Complete GMP documentation including records and logbooks

• Comply with Health, Safety and Environmental responsibilities for the position

• Thorough area cleaning is required in all production areas on a daily basis, including empty waste baskets, clean walls, floors, table, and counter tops

• May assist with cleaning equipment and performing other miscellaneous duties as required

• Handle non-hazardous, hazardous, and DEA waste

• Inventory verification and re-stocking of consumable items and supplies (hair nets, beard covers and shoe covers)

• Follow relevant Standard Operating Procedures and Site Quality procedures, ensuring 100% compliance

• Other duties as assigned

The Candidate:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Prior experience working in a pharmaceutical, or food manufacturing environment, or other relevant cleaning experience of at least two years is preferred.

• GMP experience is highly preferred

• Operate with integrity and in accordance with Catalent compliance and processes

• High attention to detail

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Must be able to work with little to no supervision

• Must be able to work effectively under pressure to meet competing workplace demands

• Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0-15 pounds;
