Responsibilities

  • Assisting in and conducting GME feasibility studies Assist clients by providing guidance around accreditation and specialty accreditation Analyze current GME programs, assess gaps, and develop plans to improve Identify and secure new GME business Provide continual guidance post accreditation to continue financially sound, sustainable programs Assist clients in preparing for site visits Provide support and guidance for turning around struggling programs Assist with clinical workforce strategy development In conjunction with Wipfli reimbursement team, prepare financial projections or financial models for clients. Prepare presentations and reports to communicate results of projects Assist clients in modeling clinical rotations Research related to project Strong analytical skills required including use of Microsoft Office Suite (primarily Excel) for financial modeling.

    Be a resource for practitioners in the health care practice related to GME Work with other team members in developing documents, policies/procedures and related content Participate in client and health care practice team meetings as requested. Travel on a regular basis to new and existing clients as required.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in related field; Masters in health, education or business PHD equivalent. 5 - 10 years experience in medical education. Exposure to consulting preferred.

    Experience in graduate medical education, preferably at programmatic and sponsoring institution levels. Ability to exercise strong organizational skills; including planning and prioritizing Ability to exhibit high attention to detail Ability to manage projects effectively and efficiently Ability to balance many projects simultaneously Ability to work under pressure and time deadlines Ability to analyze data and recommend solutions Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with and communicate with clients and staff Strong analytical skills required including use of Microsoft Office Suite Must be able to travel as needed up to 30%

Under moderate supervision, responsible for the successful installation of non-complex new retirement plan sales, acting project manager and consultant for conversion activities. The Conversion Consultant will also act as the point of contact with Plan Sponsors, Financial Advisors and Third Party Administrators. DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Responsible for the successful installation of standard/non-complex new transfer or start-up retirement plan sales. * Acts as the primary contact for Empower during the conversion process. * Perform weekly conference calls on assigned sales and consults with various client contacts including plan sponsors, financial advisors, third party administrators, relationship/client service managers, regional sales director s, prior providers, payroll vendors and various internal departments with respect to the timing of conversion, outstanding items, critical tasks and overall project management. * Discusses service agreements, contracts and product features with plan sponsors, financial advisors and third party administrators for suitability and comprehension of administrative duties. * Review plan provisions with plans electing internal compliance services to ensure accurate restatement of retirement plan documents * Coordinates the integration and mapping of payroll files/methods with the plan sponsor to Empower. * Facilitate the transfer of plan assets and records though written and verbal communication with prior providers, client contacts and various internal departments * Maintain established internal deadlines and timelines associated with transfer and start-up plan activity * Produce quality work on assigned sales through various quality assurance measures * Follow established procedures designed to minimize market risks and gain/loss situations * Transition plans timely from blackout release to the on-going client service manager * Must be willing to work extended hours and overtime during peak seasons or high volume. * Other duties and projects as assigned EDUCATION: * Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field preferred Registrations / Certifications / Licensing Required: * FINRA 6 registration permitted, but not required. * Corporate-established timelines apply to permitted registrations. * FINRA fingerprinting required. Other Preferred Qualifications: * 1-2 years Implementation or related work experience * Proficient knowledge of various IRS codes; 457, 401(k), 403(b), 401(a), etc. * Proficient knowledge of IRS/DOL reporting knowledge * Proficient regulatory compliance and plan document knowledge * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Strong attention to detail required * Excellent time management We are an equal opportunity employer with a commitment to diversity.
