As an authorized GM service center, we are currently seeking a highly qualified GM Shop Foreman to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced GM Shop Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge and expertise in servicing and repairing GM vehicles. As a Shop Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our service department, ensuring the highest quality of workmanship, and providing exceptional customer service.

GM Shop Foreman Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of technicians to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.

• Assign work orders and prioritize tasks based on urgency and customer needs.

• Conduct quality inspections to maintain high standards of repair and service.

• Diagnose complex vehicle issues and provide technical guidance to technicians.

• Monitor inventory levels and order necessary parts and supplies.

• Train and mentor junior technicians to develop their skills and knowledge.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations.

• Collaborate with service advisors to communicate repair status and address customer concerns.

• Stay up-to-date with GM technical bulletins and service procedures.

Qualifications

GM Shop Foreman Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Completion of an accredited automotive technology program preferred (not required).

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Automotive Technician.

• Valid Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications, with a focus on GM vehicles.

• Proficient in using diagnostic equipment and tools.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.

• Strong leadership, Excellent communication, and customer service skills.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Corporate requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen, THC not screened for.
