The GM of AlarmNet is responsible for the P&L of our Alarmnet business unit.

This role will lead a large team of people responsible for the continued success of one of the Connected Home industries most successful a cloud services organizations. The role will be responsible for the execution of the annual operating plan & lead the execution of the businesses strategic plan. The GM will focus on delivering software enhancements and new products that deliver sustainable and profitable growth. They will work to continue the global expansion of our AlarmNet and Total Connect

services and control the prioritization of R&D investments. The GM is also responsible for hiring and inspiring a team that focuses on growth & acts with urgency to deliver high value software solutions that empower our customer to win in the marketplace.

Additionally, with BISG's direction to expand software solutions through support for CIIS Professional Services and growing sales of uniFLOW and Therefore customizations and the upcoming release of the IRIS product at the end of this year the replacement of this position is critical to ensure that quality levels of all Canon solutions adhere to Canon INC's quality standards. Key Responsibility Areas for this position include: - Performing Service Readiness activities including specification reviews, and quality assurance testing of new releases of CUSA Developed Software MEAP Products and Customizations. - Investigating, and escalating third level field claim case escalations for CUSA and 3rd party developed Software products. - Performing Quality Assurance activities for new releases of CUSA developed software applications including MEAP, Windows, and Cloud based application - Reviewing, approving and submission of Quality Assurance bug escalation defect reports and verification reports to Canon Inc, CIIS, Nuance and NT-Ware development teams. - Creation of Canon Inc required QMS related documentation including Test Plan, Test Matrix reports, Beta Acceptance and Final QA Test Reports, Quality Approval forms, and GM CD check reports. - Supporting beta/field test activities for CUSA developed applications including Authorized Send, imageWARE Remote integration for eAutomate, Advance Cloud Portal for Ameriprise field trials. - Providing updated product support information to other ESSD support groups and to BISG dealer technicians in the form of Technical Publications, WebCasts and Technical Transfers. - Providing Canon Inc. with Monthly Verification Reports that detail the verification testing that was peformed for all new CUSA and 3rd party MEAP application versions that were submitted to CINC via LMS for code-signing. - Performing verification testing for new CUSA and 3rd party MEAP application versions and creating and submitting completed verification reports to CINC via LMS for code-signing. ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities for this position consist of support, coordination, and performance of pre-launch and post-support quality assurance activities for the following key product areas: - uniFLOW– Support and Service Readiness responsibilities include investigation of field claims, launch evaluations, launch readiness, and quality assurance/verification testing. - Nuance eCopy ShareScan – Support and Service Readiness responsibilities include investigation of field claims, launch evaluations, launch readiness, training curriculum evaluation and quality assurance/verification testing. - MEAP Solutions– Responsible for the support, quality assurance/verification testing, training curriculum evaluation and field claim investigations for Canon, and CUSA MEAP applications including universal Login manager (ULM), Authorzied Send, Scan to Worldox, Smart Card Service, and third party engineering to engineering support for eCopy ShareScan, nQueue, Pharos, Equitrac and other vendors. - Mobile Solutions - Support and Service Readiness responsibilities include investigation of field claims, launch evaluations, launch readiness, training curriculum evaluation and quality assurance testing for Canon Mobile Printing, Canon Mobile Scanning for Business and Direct Print and Scan for Mobile for Apple, Android and Blackberry phones and tablets. - Cloud Solutions - Support and Service Readiness responsibilities include investigation of field claims, launch evaluations, launch readiness, training curriculum evaluation and quality assurance for MDS Cloud integration for eAutomate, MDS Cloud integration for Site Audit, imageWARE Remote integration for eAutomate, ADVANCE Cloud Portal, and Intelligent Grading Solution. - imagePRESS, imageRUNNER ADVANCE Series - Support and Service Readiness responsibilities include quality assurance/verification testing of new Canon Model releases with CUSA and 3rd Party software applications. - QMS responsibilities – Support and adherence to the BISG Quality Management System including assisting with QMS guideline document updates, ensuring that all projects have the necessary Quality Assurance reports and Quality, Production and Shipping approval documentation, assisting with Quality Internal Audits as specified by CINC, and assisting with training new team members and other departments on QMS policies and procedures. Qualifications- This position requires a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or Management Information Systems with specific technical coursework. - 1 – 3 years experience in a Help desk role or networking environment with a background in a development, technical support, or quality assurance capacity. No experience necessary with Canon digital product line but an understanding of the network print workflow is helpful. - An industry standard certification such as MCSA, or a CCNA is a plus. - Must possess the following skills: - Working knowledge of current and upcoming versions of Windows and Mac OS.
