Husqvarna's Global Trainee Program is a global leadership development program designed for new / recent graduates who have less than 3 years of working experience but with ambition to eventually move into senior leadership roles within the company. Trainees are permanently employed by Husqvarna from the beginning and will participate in a 2-year rotating (6-month) assignment plan that is focused on a targeted position upon graduation from the program. The program also includes 1-week training modules between assignment rotations which are hosted at our corporate hubs in Sweden, U.S., Germany and China.

The U.S. will be hiring (1) Trainee position in the Consumer Brand Division's R&D Electric & Electrical Systems team. The targeted position upon completion of the program is a Design Engineer located in Charlotte, NC.
Successful applicants will meet the following qualification requirements:
Recent college graduate with less than 3 years of professional experience
Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering; additional computer science coursework preferred with GPA of 3.0 or higher
Previous international experience or education is preferred
Unrestricted right to work in the U.S. now and in the future
Highly flexible and mobile. During the Trainee program, this role may require multiple international assignments in Sweden/Germany for extended time (up to 6-9 months).
Mechanical aptitude with relevant hands on experience (mechanical and/or electrical)
Demonstrated leadership experience (in school, as a volunteer, on the job)
Strong work ethic
Resourceful / creative in achieving goals
Ability to effectively communicate and explain ideas to others
Strong initiative with a demonstrated ability to work independently and be a self-starter
