The Global Trade Compliance Export Specialist is responsible for managing global export compliance activity while supporting the company's growth objectives. This person reports to the Global Trade Compliance Export Manager and works across the company to provide export compliance guidance and process development to ensure compliance with US and local law in the exportation of goods, technology, and services globally. This individual will respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders, providing guidance as required to maintain company compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor global export regulatory and legislative changes and alerts the company's leadership team and translates into actionable business recommendations and business plans.

  • Performs in-depth regulatory, organizational and/or technical analysis of export related issues

  • Leads initiatives/projects with peers and internal/external customers to solve complex challenges

  • Provides guidance to functional groups that have a direct or indirect impact on company exports

  • Guides, reviews, and approves export license, ruling, and jurisdiction applications to US government agencies, and reports to authorities as required by engaging appropriate resources

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to export activity

  • Provides guidance and support on systems/tools (e.g., SAP & IFS) to further enable company compliance

  • Consults and assists in the design, development, and implementation of business processes that effectively meet business goals and objectives while remaining compliant

  • Assist the Global Trade Compliance Export Manager with development and delivery of export compliance training globally

  • Support the internal audit program, identifying areas of risk while supporting/tracking corrective action

  • Understand and apply export requirements for countries where Rockwell Automation operates

  • Maintain a thorough familiarity with company policies and procedures. Appropriately apply policies and procedures in compliance with government laws.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Business Administration/International Degree or equivalent or significant related work experience.

  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

Preferred Qualifications/Criteria:

  • Direct knowledge of the US Export Administration Regulations (EAR), including encryption provisions, and Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) regulations

  • Global trade and compliance expertise, consisting of 5+ years managing multiple, complex trade compliance programs for an entity with global operations.

  • Knowledge of corporate trade compliance programs and issues desired.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Exceptional attention to detail.

  • Competency in Microsoft Office and SAP.

You will form outcomes-driven relationships and penetrate these Channel Partner organizations; leveraging the bilateral sales teams to deliver a joint GTM/Co-sell strategy to engage with potential clients to accelerate revenue across the Globe for CloudFactory.</p><p>We are looking for an individual with a successful track record of generating revenue by creating, managing and growing Channel Partners both regional and globally. In addition to recruiting and enabling Channel Partners, you will be responsible for driving marketing activities with your partners to increase brand awareness and product adoption, and drive top of funnel activity.</p><p>The right person for this role thrives while wearing multiple hats, is able to think creatively and technically while communicating the business value to stakeholders. This position is based anywhere in the USA, and ideally on the East Coast to make for some business hours overlap with EMEA) with the flexibility to work remotely (work from home).</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul> <li>Design strategy and execute a Channel program that supports CloudFactory’s strategic goals.</li> <li>Identifying, recruiting, enabling, and managing partners (SIs, VARs, OEM’s, Referral Partners, etc) to support business goals and to execute channel sales strategies.</li> <li>Creating and driving overall channel account strategy and development of a CloudFactory competency across priority channel partners</li> <li>Driving growth in channel bookings, partner sourced deals through joint business planning and ongoing channel enablement.</li> <li>Working closely with CloudFactory’s finance, business and sales teams on development, tracking and reporting goals and objectives, forecasts, key metrics, and definitions of success for each Channel partner.</li> <li>Manage Channel partner relationships across their entire lifecycle from onboarding to growth</li> <li>Supporting Channel partner events like roadshows (Digital), Meetups, partner summits etc. along with marketing</li> <li>Managing Channel Partners and sales engagement to over-achievement of partner sales targets. Working with Channel partners to engage in proactive sales opportunity generation, pipeline management and deal closure.</li> <li>Develop a business plan and overall strategy with each partner. The plan should be based on a deep understanding of the Channel partners’ geographical and vertical focus, strategies and customers. Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual progress against strategic goals within the plan.</li> <li>Drive a 1M+ Annual Quota.</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul> <li>10+ years of industry experience within Channel programs, partnership/alliances, sales, marketing, business development.</li> <li>7+ years of direct Channel experience building successful channel programs, recruitment , growth &amp; substantiated revenue growth year over year.</li> <li>Experience working with Channel Partners and rolling out Global programs is necessary.</li> <li>Examples of exceeding seven figure Quota goals.</li> <li>Ability to design and present business plans, track and articulate program progress, design and document program guidelines for distribution throughout the organization (all levels) and for external use.</li> <li>Working knowledge and experience with AI technology and Machine learning technologies and cloud environments preferred.</li> <li>Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to assess alternative approaches and risks/rewards</li> <li>Demonstrated project management and leadership skills</li> <li>Excellent communication skills appropriate to the audience (technical, business, internal, etc)</li> <li>Excellent presentation skills at C Level</li> </ul><ul> <li>Exceptional attention to detail and aptitude for high levels of accuracy and precision</li> <li>Demonstrated high standards of integrity and professionally managing confidential information</li> <li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics (MBA is a plus)</li> <li>A high EQ (emotional intelligence) and CQ (cultural intelligence)</li> <li>International work/life experience and passion preferred</li> <li>Ability to travel domestic &amp; Internationally as required.
