Global Technology Leader Packing And Automation

You will be accountable for providing the necessary direction and leadership to ensure technical success and performance across our Packing and Automation platforms. This will be a hybrid role working in Chicago, IL, or Battle Creek, MI, Tuesday

• Thursday. We would also be open to candidates near any of these plant locations:
  
  Jackson, TN; Cary, NC; or Kansas City, KS. As you are providing direction to our plants on Packing and Automation you will be traveling to the plants 30-50% of the time.

In this role, you will play a major role in defining our Automation Program & Packing Line of Future Concepts, including preparation for global scalability and standardization. You will get to be involved in planning and implementing new technologies such as Warehouse Automation and Palletizing. You will get to do this all with some of our top brands such as Pringles and Cheez-It.

A Taste of What You'll Be Doing

• Innovation Pipeline Creation

• Drives the future of Packaging Automation through the supply chain, developing and working with internal & external partners to define the strategy & create the concepts for our 'Packing Lines of the Future'. Balances creative non-constrained concepts with practical experience and data-based decisions to identify opportunities to increase productivity across the existing install base. Works with 'Global Technology Owners' to identify and align standard equipment menus for Packaging Equipment types and operating principles. Leads Packaging Communities of Practice.

• Partnering with the Business

• Builds partnerships with our Supply Chain, Engineering & KWS (Kellanova Work Systems) teams to identify the opportunities where Packaging Automation can add value, increase productivity, and reduce risk.

• Enhance Technology Performance & Standardization

• Identifies opportunities in packaging and automation to create a competitive advantage. Creates Productivity Pipelines.
  
  Develops key strategic relationships with OEM's. Defines and aligns global standards for Packaging and Automation. Creates masterplans for Packaging across the different food platforms. Leads breakthrough technology development.

We're Looking for Someone With

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with 6-8 years of technical experience with relevant technology OR 10-15 years of technical experience with relevant technology.

• Passion for Packaging and Factory Automation.

• Experience driving transformational change within manufacturing environments.

• Experience working closely with engineering/operations/maintenance functions in a manufacturing environment.

• Demonstrated ability to work globally, guiding and influencing across all regional teams and many capital projects.
