We are seeking a professional like you to join our team. This role will be responsible for setting the strategy, developing solutions, and delivering impactful services globally across all BUs, Sites and Functions aimed at driving and supporting best practices to maximize potential and performance for maintenance execution and asset reliability. As Group Manager, you will also be responsible for navigating, communicating, and representing the global technical expertise verbund while developing a strong network of support, as well as fostering relationships with key stakeholders.

As a Global Tech Manager Maintenance and Reliability, You Create Chemistry By...

• Ensuring highly skilled resources are available and aligned with the global strategy to support growing demand in Maintenance, Reliability, TMM, and AMS support.

• Collaborating with regional and global colleagues at all levels to develop and sustain strong networks and information channels. This will be important to drive regional and global teams to deliver innovative solutions that support business unit objectives.

• Leading a global team and ensuring that each region is properly represented on a range of technical topics. You will also ensure best practices and key learnings are developed, shared, and integrated in the regions.

• Understanding and interpreting the discipline specific support trends, needs, developments, and outlook for the globe. In addition, you will develop the strategy to provide support for the BUs, as well as driving strategic services to ensure long-term sustainability for service offerings.

• Ensuring BASF is meeting objectives, while also proactively driving solutions to mitigate concerning performance trends or indicators.

• Working to identify and implement new technologies and innovations that support continuous improvement in M&R performance.

If you...

• Have education in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering and experience in maintenance and reliability in the chemical industry.

• Have highly effective interpersonal skills and an open attitude to new things.

• Possess significant experience working on international teams with diverse cultural backgrounds.

• Deeply understand Maintenance, Reliability, TMM, and AMS processes, ensuring the sustainability of fundamental tools and best practices (examples: RBM, RCM, MPI, Predictive Analytics, TMAT, etc.).

• Possess understanding of M&R data sources (SAP, AE, etc) and relevant KPIs it will be a valued.
