As an Operational Excellence Analyst, you will work as a member of the Global Supply Planning team to help maximize the execution of supply plans and on-time delivery of product. You will do this through three main tracks of work: capability enablement, process excellence and cross-category planning alignment.

Capability Enablement

  • You will collaborate with the Global Supply Planning teams and cross-functional partners to understand pain points and opportunities for improvement in the planning and execution process, and work with tech and reporting teams and the S&IP COE to understand, plan and implement solutions. This will include communicating requirements, scoping solutions, testing solutions and communicating and training teams on new capabilities.

This will be done in conjunction with the Apparel Supply Planning team, to ensure cross-Product Engine alignment. You will also help represent the business needs for planning solutions being implemented as part of larger enterprise solutions.

Process Excellence & Governance

  • Global Supply Planning acts as the conduit between Geography planning teams and Partner Management Teams and is responsible for standardized efficient and effective processes. Responsibilities include new process creation, documentation and planner adoption.

Part of your role will be to assess the inventory of existing Supply Planning-owned processes and reports and use Lean methodologies to streamline or drive automation. Additional focus will be to work across Apparel/Equipment Supply Planning team to consolidate similar, independent processes and reduce duplicative processes.

Cross-Category Planning Alignment

  • While you will not directly manage the supply plan for a specific Category, you will work to find alignment among the Category-focused Supply Planners. You will work with the Supply Planning team to understand the intricacies of their unique Categories and strive to standardize work where possible to increase planning execution efficiency.

This will involve piloting and refining new executional work (ex. Prebuilds, Allocation Management) to a point of operationalization, and then automating the activities in a sustainable, documented format.
