What You Will Do:

As part of the Data Center Group Supply Chain Team, you will have the opportunity to learn more about how our supply chain fits into our greater organization as well as network with fellow interns and senior leadership while contributing to our supply chain execution and quality mission.

You will gain a wide range of exposure to our Global Supply Chain organization by working with cross-functional teams to evaluate and drive improvements. This opportunity will provide on-the-job experience, professional and personal development, and technical skill advancement. You will gain experience in one of the following areas:

  • Supply Chain / Demand Planning

  • Data Analytics

  • Customer Fulfillment / Order Execution

  • Procurement

  • Manufacturing / Quality Assurance You definitely are:

  • Pursuing a degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations or related

  • An excellent student who has earned at least a GPA of 3.2

  • Able to proactively identify and pursue opportunity and have demonstrated this ability through your work or school experience

It would be a plus if you:

  • Are enthusiastic to speak to and collaborate with your fellow teammates

  • Loves to get the job done and can easily adapt to any type of working environment

  • Able to think on your feet and brainstorm fresh, creative ideas

  • Are open to sharing genuine thoughts and opinions with your team

  • Have prior internship experience in supply chain management

  • Are a rockstar at MS Excel, PowerPoint

  • Curious about new technologies and their applications

This position would execute on various tasks and projects within the finance function as well as aid in the quarterly close and the preparation for the second quarter earnings release on July 31st. Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities: * Primarily assist the Accounting, FP&A, Internal Audit, Strategy & Investor Relations teams with various projects in the finance function and also aid in preparation of materials for the 2Q Earnings Release. This may involve: * Accumulating and analyzing results from Xylem's businesses * Updating Presentations, Scripts, Releases and other materials * Creating reports and analysis as needed * Research of peer company reports * Serve as liaison for the department and coordinate across multiple functions * Ability to communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive and constructive attitude * Demonstrates basic problem solving abilities, coupled with a desire to take on responsibility * Confident self-starter with ability to prioritize and manage yourself to get things done with minimal oversight * Assist the Investor Relations & FP&A teams with various finance projects including sustainability research, peer research & analysis, process improvements, and other items. * Assist in Strategy projects or M&A deals (as applicable).
