GSS - Technology Product Management, is responsible for overseeing all technology platforms for Global Supplier Services businesses. The existing product suite that supports these businesses vary in terms of development and hosting models including internally developed software hosted on JPMC infrastructure to Software as a Service hosted in third party cloud providers. These include products related to supplier selection (e.g. Ariba), supplier payment (e.g. SAP), supplier risk management (e.g. COMPASS and 4Site), contingent labor management (i.e. Beeline), employee expense management (e.g. Concur and smartApproval) and others. The organization maintains a service oriented relationship with key leaders and stakeholders across GSS to ensure the technology platforms serve their needs and are properly maintained. The Technology Product Management team sets the strategic direction for the GSS technology roadmap and is staffed with product managers responsible for one or a collection of products. The team captures business requirements from end users, collaborates closely with design, and partners with software engineers to manage the entire life cycle for all GSS technology products. The team is also responsible for product innovation, product positioning, business case, product experience, and go-to-market strategies.Within the Technology Product Management Team, there is an opportunity to join the Approvals Product Team, working with different aspects of the firm's financial approval authority repository and centralized approval portal, smartApproval. smartApproval is an internally built software which routes approvals for 60+ systems and handles 12 million approvals per year across all Lines of Business. The primary focus for the selected candidate will be working with various technical groups to assist them with on-boarding their applications to smartApproval and enforcing their compliance of approval-related best practices. This person will be expected to provide exceptional customer service while resolving integration and end user inquiries originating from all levels of the organization and collaborate with other team members to execute our product roadmap. They will interface directly with end users, key business stakeholders, control/audit officers and technical system groups located across the globe in India, US, and UK on a daily basis.As part of the smartApproval Product Team, your responsibilities will include: * Meeting with business and technology teams across the firm guiding them through implementation of the smartApproval onboarding process * Collaborating with developers and participating in technical design discussions to evaluate options and provide recommendations that align with the overall product strategy * Providing a structured framework to track requests, synthesizing requirements of stakeholders, prioritizing enhancements and assisting stakeholders to prioritize diverse conflicting product features * Dissecting large product feature ideas to write bite-size user stories * Validating and supporting implementation events (off hours as needed)* Conducting client forums and writing newsletters to keep integration partners informed * Producing documentation and communications explaining system changes * Writing and managing Help content for end users and help desk support * Identifying problems, detecting emerging trends, and performing root cause analysis on pain points gathered from customer intelligence data to drive product feature development (Know Your Customer)* Developing strategies to support product vision and mapping the path forward in a product roadmap * Working closely with development team members to become a product expert and be able to answer the toughest questions about how it works * Clearly articulating design options to stakeholders and technology partners * Developing presentation decks with mock-ups to illustrate designs to stakeholders and technology partners * Developing prototypes to explore and testing design options on users * Preparing the organization for upcoming releases by presenting demos and providing training to customer support teams * Partnering with analytics team to monitor KPI performance and impacts of new featuresQualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 2-4+ years in software Product Management or technology field preferred * Agile experience using development tracking tools (JIRA)* Strong analytical and proactive problem-solving skills with a customer service driven focus * Ability to pick up process and technology concepts quickly, including understanding complex details * Comfortable presenting to a large group and be able to lead a meeting with difficult participants * Effective prioritization and time management skills * Ability to document conceptual, technical and operational information accurately and clearly * Ability to question traditional/conventional practices and propose change * Strong communication and customer service skills (verbal and written); Able to deliver clear, concise and timely messages, with the ability to tailor the information based on the audience * Highly motivated, energetic self-starter who can work independently and takes ownership * Experience writing macros, building access databases, and writing sequel is a plus * Cognos/Qlikview skills are a plus"

Primary responsibilities of the Senior Manager, Publications Systems Operations are as follows: * Formally manage a team of ACS staff, domestic contractors, and offshore works that provides 24 x 7 support for publishing systems and applications, including recruiting, hiring, and developing key talent. * Ensure system and application support assignments and knowledge are developed and in place. * Build and sustain highly effective and collaborative partnerships with management and staff from client business units, technology teams, and other areas of the ACS. * Develop and deliver on-going operational metrics and system/application KPIs. * Perform project and task leadership roles for application development projects as needed. * Develop applications using an accepted ACS software development lifecycle methodology. * Stay abreast of industry developments and communicate opportunities and threats to management. * Informally fill a broader role of leading, influencing, and contributing to collaboration with other stakeholders in order to achieve shared success. * Engage in budgeting, resource planning, and financial operations for Washington IT Required Skills: * Undergraduate degree in software engineering or related field; MBA or related operational education preferred but not required. * Certification in project management or other widely-accepted methodologies to demonstrate structured approaches (PMP, Six Sigma, Agile, etc.) to project and program oversight. * Strong communication and leadership skills. * Understanding of budgeting and governance.
