TITLE: Global Strategic Senior Marketing Manager, Starch-based Texturizer Platform

REPORTS TO: Global Director, Strategic Marketing Starch-based Texturizer Platform
Ingredion is hiring a Global Strategic Senior Marketing Manager who is responsible for driving growth and development of our Starch-based Texturizer (SBT) Growth Platform. The Senior Marketing Manager will develop innovation opportunities, develop business cases and oversee projects through the global Stage-Gate process. As Senior Marketing Manager you will ensure strategy and process development to launch new global products and track their progress, as well as develop sales and go-to-market tools. You will assist with global & regional portfolio optimization efforts to provide segment and product focus for the platform. You will also work in collaboration with our regional growth platform teams, and partner with the Marketing Communications team and our global agency to develop and implement the global marketing communications programs in support of their business area, provide thought leadership, and alignment with the regional marketing teams.
As a Global Strategic Senior Marketing Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Under the leadership of the Global Director, and in coordination with the global and regional teams, developing and executing the Platform growth plans & strategy
Driving new global programs and related Innovation projects to deliver the Innovation targets for the global Growth Platform
Overseeing the development of growth plans in the regions, coordinating and implementing the launch of the next generation of SBT solutions, monitoring key metrics and milestones, and providing support to the regions to remove obstacles.
Guiding the technical and innovation global programs for the Growth Platform
In close collaboration with the regions, optimizing our current SBT Platform product portfolio, targeting key growth segments, supporting new product launches and driving cost optimization projects.
Providing a consolidated view of the Platform performance working closely with regions to ensure alignment of strategic targets and plans.
Identifying new innovation project ideas in support of the Growth Platform; developing the business cases and project documentation and acting as the Project Business Owner.
Developing and delivering launch plans for global new products; tracking progress in the regions and in the marketplace. Engaging with the regional marketing teams to ensure good alignment with the other launch programs.
Monitoring competitor landscape closely and using insights to inform global strategy and action plans. Conducting regular competitive research on other related products and companies, and centralizing a global competitive intelligence view.
Leveraging the market research programs in the regions, for the benefit of the global platform.
In collaboration with global Marketing Communications and agencies, developing and supporting the implementation of the Marketing Communications plan for the global Growth Platform, including updating & maintaining thought leadership programs for SBT. Ensuring all relevant marketing collateral is up-to-date and maintaining digital content.
Sharing knowledge and expertise to progress both country and regional as well as wider business goals.
Regularly traveling to regions to directly engage teams and partnering to drive projects and reach alignment. Serving as resource for the regions in trouble shooting issues and challenges impeding delivery of objectives.

Qualified candidates will have:
Bachelor's degree in technical and/or marketing field. MBA preferred.
A minimum of 5 years' experience in a marketing or related role in an international environment.
Experience in understanding food market trends and communicating industry insights both internally and externally.
Demonstrated ability to manage network / matrix organizations to achieve business objectives.
Ability to drive and support major programs.
Strong project management skills and presentation skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
