The Global Strategic Programs Analyst will report to the Senior Director of Global Strategic Programs.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The incumbent will leverage data, analytics and communication to improve Global and Regional Supply Chain processes and performance. Routine engagement with Regional and Site Supply Chain Leadership Teams and Global and Regional Analytics Leaders is expected.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Translate Data & Analytics into business insights by working with the Global Supply Chain Analytics Center of Excellence and Regional Supply Chain Teams

  • Support the Global and Regional Journey to Excellence Teams on standardization and improve current processes

  • Support the Supply Chain function in continue to develop a learning culture by managing training and development systems and tools

  • Manage the Global Supply Chain Functional communication strategy in partnership with Global Organizational Effectiveness team which includes collaboration with Regional and Site Supply Chain teams

  • Analyze automated and manual data sets to present back to Global and Regional JTE Leadership Teams

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Economics or related field

  • Strong project management skills, including planning, organizing, and managing resources to deliver project outcomes on time and within budget

  • Strong communication and diplomacy skills to guide, influence, and negotiate at all levels of the organization

  • Prior experience managing enterprise data sources to drive visibility of top losses

  • Familiarity with creating reports using Business Intelligence tools, e.g. SAP Hana and Tableau

  • Ability to work with structured and unstructured data.

  • Demonstrated ability to proactively solve problems and multi-task.

  • Basic Supply Chain, Finance and Business acumen.

  • Understanding of latest developments in the industry.

  • Strong business perspective; able to merge business questions/needs with available data to provide data-driven insights.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Manager, Global Military Sales and Strategy (GMSS) will need to perform the below responsibilities: Responsible for identifying, qualifying, vetting, shaping, and developing global UAS business opportunities that directly support Textron Systems AOP/LRP goals and objectives Responsible for leading Opportunity and Win-Gate (O/W) reviews to include the following: competitive intelligence gathering; conducting analysis of target customer's existing ISR assets and capability gaps; understanding target customer's budget and acquisition process; assist in the development of win-strategies; development and delivery of O/W-Gate presentations to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) Responsible for determining customer hot buttons and acting as the voice of the customer to the internal organization from O-Gate through Submit-Gate (S) Responsible for supporting proposal writing efforts as directed by program proposal team Responsible for working with CBPs and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure Textron Systems' products can meet customer's system performance requirements and delivery schedules (ISC, engineering, finance, programs, legal/compliance) Responsible for generating, submitting, and managing all required license applications necessary for targeted customers Responsible for maintaining a top-level understanding of the status of each of the Textron Systems portfolio products necessary to support initial customer discussions without the physical presence of a product SME Represent Textron Systems at key trade shows and events (domestic and international), as directed by the SVP and Sr. Director of GMSS Assist in the invitation and meeting coordination process to support key trade shows and events Expected business travel may exceed 50% both internationally and domestically May/may not have direct reports Other daily duties as assigned Minimum 7-years of direct UAS Operational Experience required Associates in Applied Sciences Degree required Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering preferred Master's degree in Business or Engineering, a plus Prior Military Service preferred Prior International UAS Operations Experience preferred Prior Project or Program Management Experience, a plus Ability to obtain and maintain US SECRET Clearance required Ability to present/receive technical briefings to/from Senior Governmental Officials Ability to work as a team or individual contributor to accomplish specific tasks in the most effective and efficient manner possible Must be proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PPT Working understanding of foreign government(s) acquisition processes and procedures Working understanding of international military tactics and techniques CORE COMPETENCIES: Out of the Box Thinking Customer Focus Relationship Building Strong Writing and Oral Presentation Skills Action Orientated Time Management Project Prioritization Functional/Technical Skills Comfort around Higher Management Cross-Functional Communication Skills Attention to Detail Composure Negotiation Skills Problem Solving How We Care At Textron Systems, our talented people make us successful.
