About this opportunity

The Global Strategic Partnership and DSO Channel, iTero Sr. Director will report into Global Vice President Lab Channel & Strategic Partnership and will support global strategic partner relationships, identify and evaluate new business & partner opportunities, and support DSO channel strategy with new strategic partnerships. This position will work in close collaboration with key stakeholders of the Go to Market (GTM) strategy across both Align & partnering organization, including sales, marketing, customer support, clinical training, operations and finance, to ensure optimized execution of the program and meet partnership related revenue expectations.

This role will be located in either Raleigh, NC, San Jose, CA or Remote-United States.

In this role, you will…

  • Identify & evaluate new partnership opportunities, develop proposal and support engagement and implementation of Global Partnership Strategy for iTero. Work in close collaboration to the iTero BD team.

  • Development of global strategy playbook for 3rd party distributors at iTero. Standardize regional partnership activation and engagement methodology. Consult & support on regional partnership execution.

  • Development of global operational strategy to support simplification of partnership management within the regions. Collaboration with EBS, Support, Legal, Compliance and Finance teams on the implementation of the strategy.

  • Development of global DSO strategy focused on partnership connectivity and product integrations. Identify DSO comprehensive digital solutions & commercial opportunities - e.g. "One Stop Shop" Partnership Solutions.

  • Provide end-to-end leadership on highly complex & visible strategic & operational initiatives with multiple cross-functional partners, translating goals & objectives into standardized work plans and tool kits for a self-sustaining operational partnership and DSO program in all regions.

  • Help with driving measurable results by ensuring business critical metrics are defined and proper tracking and reporting processes are in place to understand if we are meeting business objectives.

  • Influence the relevance and brand equity of Align Technology, our strategic partnerships and DSO solutions within the dental industry. Take an active leadership role with industry associations.

In this role, you'll need …

  • Ability to juggle multiple partnership projects and programs at various stages through operationalization.

  • Ability to set up processes and resources so that the project is self-supported by the current global and regional commercial organization within 6 to 9 months from start of implementation.

  • Ability to develop & present business case if additional resourcing needs get identified to get alignment and decision from key stakeholders.

  • Travel: The position will require domestic & international travel- primarily to partner offices, Align offices & partner events, and other industry events when necessary.

Experience & Education:

  • MBA, related degreed, or equivalent experience required Candidate should have 15-20+ years' experience, including marketing and channel or b2b experience

  • Excellent record in establishing solid business relationships with internal and external partners

  • Excellent writing and communication skills required

  • Demonstrated leadership ability and experience.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and business planning skills

  • Strong analytical skills for business analysis; understands cost/benefit relationships.

  • Strong project management and commercial marketing experience

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in matrixed organization and ability to influence cross-functional resources.

Nice to have/Optional:

  • Experience in operating with synergistic brands competing for attention/time

  • Experience in the dental industry in particular

Travel:

  • Ability to travel domestic and internationally, 30-40% including some weekends a year

Primary Location Base Salary Range: $267,800 to $323,700 USD

Base salary ranges are a guideline used to determine appropriate pay. Placement depends on the individual skills and experience level of a candidate plus the total compensation and equity across team members. For other locations outside of the primary location, the base salary range will be adjusted geographically. For field Sales roles, the salary listed is the base pay only and does not include the applicable commission plan. A cost of living adjustment may be added to base pay for higher cost areas in the U.S. Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay determined based on the position and your location, year in school, degree, and experience.
