Your Role and Responsibilities
Support engagement and communication with suppliers on compliance with contractual requirements around global standards
Conducts desk research, data analysis, and support internal documentation and deliverable creation on global standards and traceability implementation
Supports the development of generic outputs that can be leveraged in various countries and stakeholder environments, including visioning workshops, supply chain operations process maps, supply chain data architecture frameworks, and systems requirements
Assists with coordination of the country programs work planning process and conducts technical review of country work plans to ensure alignment with the global strategy
Supports the supply team in targeted initiatives on central global standards implementation
Support field offices in the development of country-specific education, concept notes, track and trace visioning, strategy development, road mapping, and solutions development
Upon request, complete short term technical assistance assignments to country programs implementing global standards and/or traceability initiatives
Support collaboration across multiple donors, procurement agencies, and implementing partners Operational Support
Ensures operational needs are met for client meetings and workshops including securing room space, taking meeting notes as needed, liaising with IT and facilities on A/V needs
Creates systems/templates to track ongoing work in country programs and facilitates communications between teams • Supports the budgeting and work planning process, including oversight of budget, spend, and progress against work plan objectives
Assists with coordination of monthly, quarterly, annual or ad-hoc reporting, as needed, ensuring timely submission to the client
Provides support for RFP development and contract award in instances of commodity or service solicitation
Supports recruitment and onboarding of new team members and/or GHSC-PSM HSS "Smart Bench" consultants
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Bachelor's Degree in supply chain management or related field
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in supply chain management or related field, with a preference for demonstrable end-to-end supply chain exposure
Fluency in English, with a preference for proficiency in French or Portuguese
Flexible, out-of-the-box thinker able to come up with innovative, cost-effective solutions
Ability to work independently to prioritize work and produce high-quality written deliverables
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing, and lead presentations, training courses, and effective meetings
Demonstrated integrity, independent thinking, judgment, and respect for others.
Strong knowledge of MS Office applications
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience with GS1 global standards
Experience in warehouse management, supply chain business processes, and/or barcoding
Minimum 1 year of experience working in a developing or emerging market environment or a pharmaceutical / medical device supplier or distributer.
